佛是真语者、实语者、不异语者、不诳语者，
凡夫是假语者、虚语者、异语者、诳语者。

我们要听那唯一说话算数者
——阿弥陀佛所说的，字字句句都要听明白。
其余一切凡夫所说概不算数，何必要听，
何必入心，何必认真，何必当回事，
何必生烦恼。姑言姑听，随听随过，
嗯、嗯，啊、啊，就可以了。
Wemustfollowtheonlyonewhomeanswhathesays--AmitabhaBuddha.Weshouldhearcarefullyeverywordhespeaks.Thereisnoneedtotakewhatanordinarypersonsaystoheart.Weneednottakeitsoseriously,especiallyifwewanttoavoidvexations.Wecanalwaysjustrespondwith“Hmm”or“Ha.”
诸佛菩萨本知凡夫说话不作数，
如梦者、迷者、醉者，故只生怜愍，
从不计较。唯有凡夫以假为真，
打官司、讲理、生气，
弄得乌烟瘴气，不得消停。
